The ISAR is our best-known beer mug shape, most notably due to the global popularity of Oktoberfests. Oktoberfest organisers, however, opt for our glass not only because of its shape, but also because of its weight. Using IS technology, it is possible to make the glass about 50 % lighter than by using press technology. This mug is also known as the “Augenkanne” in many places. Its flat, round dimples give the body greater stability and a more appealing appearance. ISAR beer mugs are available in four sizes from the 4 cl spirits glass to the 1 l tankard.
The Mannheim beer mug has a capacity of 0.5 l. Its basic shape is slightly bulging and smooth, interrupted by a number of long, evenly-placed vertical stripes. This shape is highly popular particularly in the Czech Republic where the glass is well-known for featuring in the renowned historical film “Postřižiny” (English title: “Cutting It Short”). The stories in the film are set around two breweries in Nymburk (German: Nimburg) and Dalešice (at Liberec).
The Donau beer mug is a classic mug boasting a stylish design. A wide badge space on the front offers space for decoration and the chance to make it your own. The Donau beer mug can be purchased in the classic sizes 0.3 l and 0.5 l.
The Ecken beer mug is distinguishable from other Oberglas mugs for its 'edgy' structure (“Ecke = angle, corner”). Despite these striking angles, the mug can nonetheless be decorated with transfer images.
