Situated in the heart of West Yorkshire, the British glass factory, Stölzle-Flaconnage has been part of the Stölzle Glass Group since 1994. The recent addition of a fifth line has increased capacity by over 24%. As well as cosmetic white flint glass, Stölzle-Flaconnage offers feeder colour on two production lines, providing a full range of the most popular colours.
Five lines, 155 tons of extra-white flint glass per day, 110 million glass containers per annum, these have made Stölzle-Flaconnage one of the leading producers of Prestige items. 70% of its output is produced for the Prestige Spirits & Design market, with 30% supplied to leading Perfumery & Personal Care companies.
In 2010 major investments were made in Stölzle Flaconnage. In addition to the furnace rebuild, the Cold End area was enlarged and a new mould shop and a mould design department were built. However, the most impressive feature remains the new Customer Centre with its conference and show rooms where customers can admire the latest masterpieces produced for the Prestige Spirits and Perfumery & Personal Care markets.
The capacity of the factory's decoration facilities was increased as well by 50 % in order to meet the requirements of the most challenging of customers with a full range of in-house decoration techniques: acid etching; automatic and semi-automatic silk screen printing in ceramic colours together with precious metals and the full spectrum of organic colours. Also offered are semi automatic and fully automatic heat release and water-slide transfer application. The investment was completed with the introduction of hot foil stamping and a twin spraying line for organic colours, where different spray guns can be used in one process, achieving subtle, multi-coloured finishes.
